Please call us “RL”, and together with my husband, we are the proud humans of two beautiful sisters: Tina, a shy tuxedo sweetheart, and Gina, a confident mackerel-grey charmer.
Their journey into our home was anything but simple — it stretched across countries, foster homes, heartbreak, and hope.
How Our Story Began
In early 2021, we began dreaming of welcoming two cats into our lives. But very quickly, we discovered the uncomfortable reality of commercial cat trading in Europe — high prices, long transports, and an unsettling feeling that something wasn’t right.
So we turned to adoption.
Through cat adoption groups, rescue communities, and countless testimonies, we learned about the ongoing need for safe, loving homes. And that’s when we saw them: two sisters who had started life in a Polish shelter, then found themselves in a temporary foster home near Ku’damm in Berlin.
We visited them.
We fell in love.
And our lives haven’t been the same since.
Why This Blog Exists
This blog was born from one simple belief:

A Little About Tina & Gina
Gina, the bold one, bonded instantly with my husband. She’s playful, curious, and has mastered the art of showing off.
Tina, my quiet tuxedo shadow, chose me. She’s gentle, sensitive, and opens up only to those she trusts deeply.
Together, they are the heart of our home — proof that love grows in the spaces we nurture.
